MASTER PLAN VARANASI-2031

The Varanasi master plan 2031 not only contains proposal for future development of the city but also exposes how the VDA failed to implement the master plan 2011.The master plan 2011 had a proposal of widening of 26 road of old city area. However not a single road could be widened .As the road proposed in the master plan could not be , developed as per the plan.

Due to failure of 2011 master plan ,Planners plan to developed new master plan 2031. He focused on what are the reason behind this and work on this. VDA ensuring planned development at the places where land are reserved or land use are proposed for industrial estate, warehouses, city centers institutional hubs, wholesale market, hospitals, horticulture. The new master plan also contains that due to the wrong alignment of Ghazipur road the land use had been affected badly.
